About
My Approach
I love working with mission-driven organizations
I'm a PhD-trained writer and educator who has spent the last fifteen years working with institutions that support lifelong learning and creative expression as tools for building stronger communities.
advancing lifelong learning and creative expression in the service of a better future
I trained as a both a humanities scholar and theater director, and I bring creativity and intellectual rigor to every project I embark on.
I turn visionary thinking into actionable steps for implementation, while refining communication and program execution processes to better serve an organization’s strategic priorities. An expert writer and presenter across public-facing genres, I excel at translating complex information into digestible forms for a broad range of audiences.

Interests
I've been directing and producing theater for fifteen years. (Contact me for my artistic resume!) A lot of this work has been at Live Arts in Charlottesville, VA, where I have also worked closely with multiple artistic directors on season programming. I am also proud to serve on the board of New Light Theatre, a Delaware-based theater company committed to elevating the work of other charitable organizations in conjunction with each production.
I'm an avid museum-goer, voracious reader, amateur painter, and wannabe guitarist.
